As a service to our customers DHL Global forwarding would like to draw your attention to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection notice issued from Champlain, NY regarding an email scam in progress. More detail can be had by clicking on the link in the Customs message.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has become aware of distribution of an e-mail message which claims to be from “US Customs Service” with a subject line similar to “Parcel requires declaration.” These e-mails are not authentic and have not been sent from any Department of Homeland Security or CBP system or authorized individual. Please do not open any attachments or follow any links contained in this e-mail. Information regarding this bogus e-mail message is available on the CBP website at: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/newsroom/alerts/email_virus.xml.
