BAF & CAF NOTICE – Transpacific Eastbound into Canada
Please be advised that Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) effective April 01, 2010 (cargo receiving date) is changing to:
Import cargo via West Coast:
USD 294 per 20’ container
USD 368 per 40’ container
USD 414 per 40’HC container
USD 466 per 45’ container
USD 589 per 53’ container
Import cargo via East Coast:
USD 582 per 20’ container
USD 727 per 40’ container
USD 818 per 40’HC container
USD 920 per 45’ container.
This BAF is applicable for import cargo from North and South East Asia to Canada and represents an increase of USD 20.00 per 40’ standard for West Coast services and USD 38.00 per 40’ standard for East Coast services over existing levels.
The Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) will be at the following levels effective April 1, 2010
5% - Applicable from all origins including Japan and the PRC
